Donation yoga comes to Mid-Missouri
Welcome! At Show Me Yoga Center we have news we're so excited about, that we want to share it with the yoga community! We have started an adventure here in Mid-Missouri. Right across the street from the Missouri State Capitol building we're offering yoga to anyone who wants to learn...and we're offering it at their own price! Donation Yoga is an experiment for the summer. We hope to make Donation Yoga permanent and officially become a non-profit soon.
Since we started two weeks ago, we've had 40 new students experience the wonder of yoga. And they're coming back often and bringing their friends and family! Our regular students are coming more often, building the power of their yoga practice. Yoga is spreading to the State Capitol building and to a 14-story state office building nearby. We recently took yoga into the public schools introducing yoga to hundreds of 9th graders during their PE classes. We're taking yoga to doctors and nurses and into the workplace. We want to do more, offering classes for those with chronic health conditions, seniors, and more.
Would you like to help spread yoga in Mid-Missouri? We would appreciate any donation, no matter how small! We're also looking for legal and accounting assistance in creating our non-profit status. If you can help please call (573) 636-5656. We also invite you to visit our site: www.showmeyoga.com.
Namaste,
